Dittos. I was tickled when I thought Mike Houston was coming here and okay with Healy as a second choice. This seems special though.
My gut instinct says he is the real deal.

This looks like a good hire.
I see he seems to have no prior affiliation with Poggi which is a good sign.
I haven’t researched all his hires but it seems that a lot of his hires are not people he is affiliated with. Seems like he’s going out into the market and landing quality.

Anyone else notice Rod Ojong was at Austen Peay in 2018… when Healy was the head coach? Am I reading that right, kind of odd but who knows.

DMV is how people in the dc area refer to the area since it includes dc, Maryland, and Virginia.
With poggi, the new OC from maryland, and this guy, there are a lot of recruiting ties to that area, so we can likely expect a lot of recruits from that part of the country.

Biff has a huge network so he is probably hiring guys that are connected to his network. It stood out to me that in an interview Mike talked about needing a coach with a large network. With Biffs HS players being so well recruited he knows people on all kinds of staffs where coaches can recommend guys to Biff or describe their coaching styles and philosophies.
The problem Will had was as young as he is his network was too small and was mostly made up of his friends.
