SJ, everyone here knows that ECUâs 3 wins came against 2 Div III teams and what used to be named Womenâs College (UNC-G). That is sad enough, but worse yet is that these 3 teams have only 2 wins between them and they were both against Div II teams. Hey good news, your next two games before you come to Halton are against two more winless teams, but with Lebo and all your talent I am sure you will find a way to win those games too. I personally hope that you come into Halton undefeated as it will make my victory beer after the game taste that much better. But donât worry, after you get smacked around in Charlotte guess what Lebo has waiting for youâthatâs right, another Div II team that is 0-4. Honest to God, I would insist on getting half of my ticket money back if I was a Pirate Season Ticket holder.

Those players and coaches are gone, and you are only as good as your next hire and the resources you have to attract that hire and keep that hire. Just look at USM football if you really think it matters. History doesnât do jack for you in any sport, the only thing that matters are your current coaches and the players they recruit, and money you have in the program to keep quality coaches there and everything going.

Yeah I guess UCLA, Duke, Kansas and UNC all say the same about their history. The bottom line is that you donât care about past results cause ECU has been just about the worst division 1 basketball program over the last 20 years. Donât try and spin it any other way.

Again, how much to you hear me talking about past success in football from say even the Holtz era where we won a couple conference championships and beat 4 ranked teams the last couple years he was here. That was only 3 years ago you donât hear me saying anything because heâs gone, half the players on the team werenât recruited by him, and it really doesnât matter what we did under him at this point. He affects nothing moving foward beyond the players he left here and in another year or 2 they will be gone too.

My point was, and the people on here that know me, Iâm 6â2" and I damn near averaged 2 bpg probably playing half the minutes he gets during the season. Quick⌠Can you tell me my PER? The majority of teams in 2A trot out a lineup of 6â-0" to 6â-2" guys, with the occassional 6â4" O-lineman playing Center for a squad, but heâs slow and not very good. Iâm not saying the guy will not be good, but Iâm also not the one hyping him as something heâs yet to prove to be, you know how you state everyone was on this board about Nickerson? There is a decent jump as well from 2A to 3A in VA as well.
