I’m very pleased with how the ladies’ season went, though bummed how it ended.
If the men’s teams did this or better regularly I’d be pretty ecstatic about the state of our athletics programs.

Watched last quarter and a half of #8 Miami-FL at #1 South Carolina. Not a very pretty game with Gamecocks up 31-15 after 3. Coach Meier now 7-8 in NCAAT (7-7 with Canes) after USC won 49-33.

FWIW, Indiana beat #11 Princeton 56-55 after their win over the Niners. The Ivy champs upset #6 Kentucky 69-62 in the first round.

Consuegra seems to be loading up for another push for a tournament bid. I wanted to see what kind of player Hueston was was so I pulled up some old videos of her on YouTube since she did not get a lot of action at Pitt. The video below is from 10th grand but you can get an idea of what type of play she is (#33).
WBB signed Illinois transfer Keanna Rembert this week as well. HS Highlights below. If Consuegra can put together a few years of making the tournament then she should be able to keep some of the local talent at home. WBB seems ready to be able to compete in the AAC from day one.

Consuegra adds another transfer. I know a lot of folks joke about Cara but I think she is building the foundation for a good WBB program. She is winning the transfer portal game.

Anyone else notice that WBB games are not included on the 2022 Gold Card?
Been wondering for a few years when this was going to happen. Intererested to see how much season tickets will cost. BTW, back a long while ago, baseball was included.
Next thing will be admission charge to softball.
