From Andersonās WSU bio re: 2024-25 season as junior.
Also see that she led NJCAA D-I in scoring as a sophomore with 26.7 ppg after finishing 2nd as a freshman with 23.7 ppg while attending Pratt CC in Kansas. Accomplished that even though she primarily came off the bench both seasons.

Shaaliyah Lyons is the new DOBO. I didnāt realize that was a position that had opened up, but I do remember the last one, just didnāt notice. So just another assistant coach, and a new strength & conditioning coach is what the Womens program need as far as i know.

New assistant coach Aaron A Swinson fills out the coaching staff, Coach Reed speaks highly of him. Jariyah Covington hired as Director of Player Development/Special Assistant to the Coach. Jariyah is one of Coach Reedās former players, and was a Grad Assistant last season.
Only thing left now is the new Strength & Conditioning position as far as I know, havenāt seen it posted yet with the new person in charge for Womenās Basketball. The one last year did Womenās Basketball and Womenās Tennis from what I remember, so may be the same for the new person once hired.

Update 6-13-25
I missed this last month, but Associate Head Athletic Trainer Jennifer Winningham took the job at Tennessee Tech, her alma mater as Head Athletic Trainer. Seems she was hired on May 5th, but now they are sharing it on social mediaās with Thank You to Charlotte for 12 years. So that position will have to be filled, but seems like she enjoyed her time in Charlotte. Maybe just had to finish her duties before she announced she was leaving
now being at the top position.
Original post 10 days prior according to board.
Jaylen Pointer promoted from GA to Video Coordinator/Player Development.

Trevor Boyd hired as Assistant Sports Performance Coach for Womenās Basketball. I remember Koier if I remember the spelling correctly from last year for WBB and W Tennis. I was about three months ago now since the posted the job for head position, what I remember is Strength & Conditioning. I think that all falls under Sports Performance to include multiple things, so they just need the head position filled. I only remember koier and since he was head for WBB & W Tennis, but above just says for WBB only as the assistant position.
Update after Original Post.
Coach Lashonda Cousin promoted to Associate Head Coach. Also some players, mens practice players, and the coaches are doing pickup games in the gym.
So work is going on, donāt know if the roster is complete yet or if they were waiting on anymore decisions to be made, that will be answered in time, but for now itās a nice mixture of veteran and younger players on the team thus far.
Not sure of the intangibles yet as I have not seen any practices such as team speed and those kinds of things. Iām sure some of you who live there will go check out some of the open practices, and see how you all like things thus far.
Anyone have any idea on what the settlement with the ncaa means for now and the future? I did see something a few weeks ago at this point, about some money sharing, or they wanted more money for UNC and NC State. It was some kind of bill proposed in your state, but I saw them talking about it on the East Carolina WBB board as I was trying to see how other teams recruiting was going. I really should have asked then when it was fresh in my mind, but it seemed to give them more, and schools like East Carolina & Charlotte would get less? Something about schools needing to have X amount of money for NIL or something to that affect.
You all who stay there and vote for or against these things will know much more than me, but I was just wondering about that, because it seemed to create an even bigger funding gap between the schools, and they didnāt want it to pass as it was presented.
