Class of 2019 MBB recruiting thread

#641

We’re going to go from a team with no depth to one that is deep next year because of lots of playing time this year by those that may not start next year. Our defense should be even stronger and more intense with more players.

#642

Shepard should definitely be the front runner.
When I have seen him on the court he’s quick, a good ball handler,
and loves dribble penetration. He’ll also have a year under his belt
with practicing under this system. Seems to have no fear as well.

Big win for Hopewell and Brice, WC features FSU :star::star::star::star:signee Patrick Williams.

#645

emojis are messed up.

#646

Sitting there waiting…just in case we do have a transfer.
Sounds like a Sanchez kinda guy !

#648

Is this kid any kin to Ilian Evtimov that used to play at NC State?

#649

Looks like he could be the son of Vasil Evtimov who played at UNC in the late 90’s. Vasil is Ilian’s older brother.

#650

That he is.

#651

Vassil spent 18 years as a pro in Europe before retiring in 2015. Ilian currently in French Pro A. Their father also played in Europe, so hoops definitely runs in the family!

#652

Another notable option.
“7’2” wingspan. great hands, runs like a deer and 3.9 GPA" got my attention.

#653

We checked in on him a while back. My thought is this, with Supica/Rissetto/Mangum, we probably need a more experienced guy to join that rotation, if they add another big.

#654

And we have no scholarships to give next year unless someone transfers, right?

#655

Right: https://agent49.net/scholarship-table/

2019 and 2020 are full at the moment.

Loved seeing this.

Faze: to distract or disconcert.

Of course, Brice is probably not “phased”, either.
