Why was Kean playing in the 4th quarter? Did we just give up? Kean is far worse than Reynolds and shouldnât play unless Reynolds is hurt.

Yeah, you probably got a nice breeze up at the top of the bowl, but in the bowl, it was terrible.
Lack of execution on both sides of the ball. Give Spenser credit though as he knew if he took Benny out of the game it would be up to Reynolds to beat them. Reynolds couldnât get it done. There was some really bad misses. That first slant to an out move was wide open and he had a blocker. Reynolds missed it by 5 yards. I am a big Reynolds fan, but he has stunk it up these last couple of games. Game plan for FIU will be to throw 8 in the box and make the QB win the game. Reynolds better get up to the task.

It was simple. We were out coached. Out executed. Out talented. Out hearted. Out schemed today. Out played today.
I keep hearing how They took Lemay out of the game. Until the end when they put the back up QB in, he had 8 carries for 50 yards. Thatâs over 6 yards a carry. Looked like our strategy was to use him as a decoy.
Reynolds interceptions at end of half were horrible passes. Cost us at least three points and maybe 10. Jumping off sides on 4th and 2 when it was obvious they were only trying to get us to jump and they score 7.
5 different receivers with at least one 25 yards catch. 3 different backs with at least one 20 yards rush. We looked like we were playing touch football with all the failed arm tackles. It was rare that the first guy made a tackle.
I understand it will take time to build the program. All I ask is that we look ready to play and that we play hard. We didnât do either of those today.

Beer line was easy.
There is something wrong with our ticket scanning. Heard one of our gameday staff complain about ticket scanners being broken while they scanned just one of my two tickets. She said the athletic department complained to them about scanned tix not matching actual attendance, but she didnt know what to do about it.
I had ticket scanning issues last year at the App game when Savio sold me some. Still feel bad about that
Too many injuries on Defense and O line. We donât have the depth yet to overcome injuries and fatigue in 90+ degree heat.
Biggest issues were:
O line up the middle
D line up the middle
Biggest one was confused secondary. LBs were not sure where they were supposed to be. Safeties continually falling for play action and letting receivers run right by them. Have to work on eye discipline.
Still have faith we can bowl. I believe the bye comes at a great time.
Athletic department complaining about their own equipment not working?
Tip for the next game. Use the middle entrance to the stadium the security line is much shorter. We walked up to the stadium at 3:20 and saw a long security line at the entrance next to the ticket office.
I think we had some false hope from the past couple of games and having healthy guys. Our issues were exposed with the lack of depth. Unfortunately it will take years to overcome. We have to keep supporting them because you never know what could happen in these games. We could always pull an upset. For some of these backup guys, it was their first game at this level and they will learn. We can still get to 6 so letâs keep supporting!

Reynolds played poorly yesterday, but these posts about his play at Clemson are off base. He literally had huge defenders in his face all day down there. No way I blame him for anything he did in that one. No protection, no time, not sure what he could have done.
Agree but tv dictates start times.
The D line up the middle was formation a lot of the time. Many times we had defensive tackles lined wide and had one linebacker in the middle of the field so they had one blocker free for the one player, leaving the RB nothing but grass.
That is the 4 2 5 scheme we run now If you donât have dbs that can come tackle you are in trouble & our dbs are getting blocked way to easy.
And that is the good thing about ESPN+, you play when you want to, and it is on (my) TV.
