This WILL be the LAST game that App is better than Charlotte. Their program only has a ceiling so high. Our ceiling is Saturday night prime time on ABC.

We really need to shore up our special teams play and start forcing some turnovers on defense. We lost the turnover battle, gave up two touchdowns on special teams and lost by two touchdowns. I thought that Reynolds played great and that last INT was just forcing a play. I am not sure if the fumble is on him, but otherwise he was solid. Our offense can be explosive and the run sets that up. The run defense is atrocious. Two games in a row that the opponent ran the ball down our throats. The first one was some subs, but this one was on the starters. 1st offensive play of the game and you could put an 18 wheeler through that hole. Not good. Also, the kick coverage is so bad that Cruz was taken off of the kickoffs and we kicked it in the end zone. I think you see this same thing next week as well. Cruz barely squeaked in the first PAT try so moving him back 5 yards and he did the same kick and missed. Penalties equal lost points so they need to clean that up as well. They need to go and stomp UMASS.

Totally agree. Their fans don’t understand that and if I were them, I wouldn’t either.
No moral victories but wow. Proud of our guys

App may be the best team we play all year and we had chances. Block punt and turnover at end of first half was a killer

A few App fans did not like the name but I think it was more due to it coming from Charlotte, or at least the perception a Charlotte person came up with the name. I think it works no matter where it came from.

App scoring 8 touchdowns makes me wonder what the school record is at Klempson.
Very proud of the no quit attitude today. Every time it looked like App was going to break it open, we would come back with a score of our own. Get rid of the special team mistakes and we are right there. We earned some respect today. Fun game to watch. Section 114 was rockin the Forty-Niner chant!

I don’t see how App fans put up with such terrible parking and concessions. I’ve been to lots of college stadiums and never seen anything so poorly organized.
