We need Aresco to go get SDSU next year after their exit fees no longer double.
That would be a huge upgrade in Hoops, decent upgrade in football and mega upgrade in future growth.
Cal and Stanford have lots of Olympic sports. How many of those teams are going to fly across country to compete in away games?
Saw that, agree, I was surprised that they had Boone community college in the ACC. What I love is I have never heard/read any discussion around the Sansabelt Conference member or Appy. Gotta be old to understand that ref

L O L……says the man that’s literally trying to keep the money amongst a select group of athletic departments and ideally would like to eliminate auto bids from lower tiered leagues in the basketball tournament.
Yea we’d have three tiers at first, the old PAC Schools, old AAC, then the new 6. Not ideal but I’ll take it in a second to be locked in at #5.
You add SDSU and Boise after the MWC contract expires and you’ve got an excellent national conference.

one thing that is likely slowing this down is that stanford sponsors a lot of sports. they need to find homes for all of them

I would think we would have to get a little more money due to the extra travel costs in all the sports.

It looks like they’d be setting up pods, that would reduce how much it went up anyway. I’d love to get a little more too but getting the AAC with all the best of the rest would position us to keep clawing our way up.
They’re pretty good in baseball I’d say. Multiple CWS appearances and multiple CWS titles. Also had this guy recently:
