Fire Ron Sanchez

Ok. So you put those players on this team and we’re not obviously better?? Is that what you’re saying??

My elementary years were filled with memories of pulling for the Niners when they were in the Metro. I’ve pulled for them ever since. Those days were wonderful and so we’re the coaches.

But we can’t just minimize the talent all of those players had just to make a point that we loved the era and the coaches. Just like we can’t over estimate the talents of our current team just bc ppl want the coach fired.

I loved those teams. I just don’t think Sanchez would get the most out of them and Lutz did.

Did I just read ā€œknow your placeā€ posts?

Yea. If we can hang with a top 3 team, there’s no reason to conclude we (or some other CUSA team)
couldn’t hang with a bottom-of-the- league ACC team. Can’t be more logical than that. Do I need to say that the bottom of the ACC is ,by definition, inferior to the top?
Not saying you are wrong, but I don’t agree with you.

In these parts, they are arguably the most over rated conference in the country. Pandering to the deluded rubes is very good business.

I was looking at the schedule and only see us winning two or three more games this season. That puts us a 15 to 16 wins. That is not enough to keep your job in my mind after four seasons but I have a gut feeling Mike Hill will see things differently.

No you want to read it that way because you don’t like what I said (if you’re referring to me).

Know your place

I’m supposed to know my place ok cool. So this forum isn’t about having the freedom to express ideas. It’s about each poster knowing their place in this forum. Gotcha :+1::laughing:

Ignore me. I am a bot. I know your place

Hahaha. You’re a funny bot! I wish you were a real person with a show on a streaming platform I’d def watch it

If you were a real Niner, it should piss you off if someone told you to know your place. Now your place is somewhere, a shitter perhaps, anxiously awaiting my response to your response about ā€œknow your placeā€

Hahaha. So you’re a real person?!?!?

I am real Niner bc I know how to defend my position w facts instead of taking things too personal. All you’ve said to me was know your place. Why because of the simple fact you didn’t like what I posted, seriously?

Is this what this forum is about (general question to everyone)? If so, then I’m gonna continue making posts based on facts. If it gets people riled up then so be it.

What I’m not gonna do is cave into online bullying just because I can be objective about the state of our basketball team.

Btw, who doesn’t like sitting on the throne and posting :poop:!

I’m so confused

Seriously, I was too sleepy to read your posts. Thought some implied we should know our place and never expect greatness. Is that you? I don’t Lee Rose had that opinion. Sincerely, BroBot

Quite the opposite. I said we currently don’t have the talent some posters believe we do. A comparison was made to some Niner teams. I vehemently disagreed by saying those teams had much more talent.

My posts about the ACC are in reference to the belief the conference, in general, is much better than the C-USA. I think any objective bball fan would agree with that.

I never said we shouldn’t be great. What I said was that we need to be objective and realistic about the talent we have. We shouldn’t minimize the talent past teams had just because we loved the era and the coaches. We also shouldn’t overestimate the talent of our current team just because ppl want him fired.

Wow! This discussion has really gone off topic

I think our players with the right coach/system could be a #100 team. Instead of right now with these rankings…

RPI #126
NET #176
BPI #211

Currently at #100 in these rankings…

RPI #100 UC Irvine (11-7)
NET #100 Minnesota (11-10)
BPI #100 Stanford (14-10)

Do I think our whole roster is good? No. Our depth after #6 isn’t that good and we have one quality big on the whole team. But I think we have a good enough 7 man rotation to be better than what we are.

Sanchez needs to be held accountable for our lack of quality d1 players at the 4/5 position. It’s not good enough. When’s the last time our top 5 guards all had 35%+ 3pt%?

We had that one year where Davis, Scott, and one of the other guards were all shooting 40ish or above. Still sucked because mark price was awful
