Fire Ron Sanchez

He doesnā€™t get full amount, just base salary Iā€™m pretty sure, so maybe thatā€™s 450k x 3.

Yeah I think youā€™re right

Dude, we canā€™t score the ball consistently. John Wooden couldnā€™t fix it. Our D rotation was poor today as well. Canā€™t not guard when you canā€™t score

Playing too many people at this point. Need to bring it down to 7 and let them find a groove. Still searching for a lineup 6 games in.
We have talent on this team but not putting the right people on the floor.

If all they will let Braswell do is stand on the baseline, and then get ignored over and over again by his teammates, then he shouldnā€™t be out there.

Year 5, or 4 if you want to throw out the Covid season, we are getting blown out by DETROIT MERCY, not getting upset by a bucket, blown out, by a HORIZON conference team, is this where we expect to be after 4-5 years into this, how to fix basketball ( see football ), make a mid season change, end the underachievement and disappointment

Iā€™m not ready to pull the trigger now or even mid- season- I donā€™t think it accomplishes much. Heā€™s shown dramatic improvement this year with his players playing his brand of basketball. Our opponents have adjusted, and we got surprised, now itā€™s Ronā€™s turn to show if he can make adjustments, or if itā€™s time to look for a new coach.

Yeah while Iā€™m not necessarily on board with Ron and this loss was very concerning you donā€™t fire a coach with a winning record before you even get to conference play. We need to get through January and see where things stand and then decide if itā€™s worth making an in season move. Remember how bad of a look it was for Judy when she fired Price early in the season? Letā€™s not repeat that.

I want him to fear for his job.

This last game was NOT acceptable.

Adjust and overcome, or be prepared to call Will Healyā€™s realtor.

clt says the average fan doesnā€™t know how good Detroit mercy is

Weā€™ll see. Team looked great to start the season. Ever since the second half of the Tulsa game though, we have been awful. As soon as teams started packing it in and cutting out our cutting and passing lanes, weā€™ve been just as bad as we ever have been. Unless we start hitting threes, our offense is going to struggle all season because teams are just going to deny us a route to the basket. Ron canā€™t hit the open shots, but he can recruit guys that can, and he hasnā€™t.

You can take it to the bank Sanchez will lose to some crappy unknown team every year. If you limit your shots and the other team has a decent shooting night you are screwed.

Thatā€™s exactly how #1 seed UVA lost to a #16 in the Big Dance. Historic first.

Another funny man!

Now thatā€™s sounding like an old Lutz post loss press conference comment! Just being honest, Lutz was great, except far from great when he wasnā€™t. Then, he would give out zingers like this CLT! Still, Sanchez makes Lutz seem like Dean Smith

If we are set to give second chances to alleged murderer wannabes in football, we could offer basketball pimp Rick Pitino a second chance

5 years into Sanchez we are getting blown out by Detroit Mercy, a 2-3 Horizon conference team, a conference rival just beat them by 21, and they turn around and beat us by 21, hovering a few games above .500 with this weak schedule and an early dismissal from the Conference USA tournament at the end of the season is NOT where this program should be in year 5, and getting blown out by Detroit Mercy is not gold standard, I was not optimistic going into the season, and after this loss, I am convinced that Sanchez can not get us to the level that we need to be at to be competitive in the AAC

Hill should send him the tape of the Western Ky/Charlotte football game.

Sanchez would have a wet dream if there was no shot clock and he could run the Four Corners.
