Could he (or someone else) qualify for an academic scholarship and join the team as a walk on, leaving an athletic scholarship open?
he could do that if he wanted to. There are not a whole lot of full academic scholarships at Charlotte though. Even fewer that cover all expenses.
Also, in order to retain an academic scholarship he would have to retain a specific GPA. I’m not saying it’s not possible, but it adds stress.

Wake doesn’t have any scholarships available for next year so he was a backup plan for Wake in case there’s a transfer. I don’t blame the kid for not waiting on that. He’ll be better off at UNCC.
yeah I read that on your board. We still beat out some other notable schools in Kansas and Miami, although I don’t know how hard either of those were recruiting him.

Yes, I had already confirmed that the answer is no. Ex-Niner coach Pratt is the color commentator for Kentucky Wildcats’ TV and radio broadcasts.
I really wanted to see him play but I have to support Sabrina and the Lady Niners tonight.
I do love that this kid is upwards of 6’6" and has four years to develop. Big guards are where it’s at.

Faith does wonders! I like this kid a lot and know that his confidence is going to lead him pretty far on the floors of Halton.
