Keyshawn Woods - 2014 G - signed LOI to Charlotte

Now this feels right. Landing commitments before the next season even starts. Well done Major, well done.
This might be wildly unpopular, but I’m giving some love to Jeff McInnis as well. He might have been a Tarheel but he’s treated the Charlotte basketball scene well over the years by sponsoring summer leagues, AAU teams and now helping Dinkins out at NCA.
Well said, as you and I have talked about before, I think having McInnis or Dinkins on staff in the future would be tremendous additions.

We are getting alot of love on the Observer site from Langston for this and other recent commitments from Charlotte kids.

I’ve watched Keyshawn for the past two years. He’s a hustler and has a nose for the ball. I’ll really enjoy watching him blow up at NCA this year. Welcome to the Niners KW.

Funny how getting a good recruit improves the mood. From all reports Keyshawn will be someone Niner Nation is going to love.

Wondering how McInnis has supported Dinkins. I don’t know anything about this, but it’s very interesting. Can you say more?

Some Tarheels can put their baby blue fandom aside and do what best for a person or community (Mac Everett for football).

That’s very true. But then you have to deal with the rest of them…

I think Mac Everett is a UGA guy

Odom, McInnis, and Dinkins would be a great recruiting team. All have great ties, especially locally. McInnis played in the NBA and was a college star. Dinkins was a great college player. Odom’s dad was a great coach.

No doubt, would love to see those 3 not just recruiting but at the head of the 49er program.

Keyshawn - welcome to niner nation. Looking forward to seeing you light up Halton Arena.

Correct.

My bad. Same kind of fanbase just good at a different sport.

Gene Johnson was the Tarheel graduate.

This kid is going to be one of the best player’s we’ve ever had. I can feel it.

Keyshawn was the very first recruit that Major targeted when he got here. Keyshawn was in 9th grade and we have been after him ever since. I like this kind of dogged determination.
