I think one of the Producers of the show mentioned that it was a network decision. If it was done all in a row, we would have had to wait till January for it to start. Sorta a trade off, not having as long of an “offseason” for having beaks in the action.
At any rate, this week is a rerun of a Season1 episode. Unfortunately this weeks “The Office” is also a rerun. damn. No TV worth watching this week.

Yeah, Tivo is bad that way, but if you’re on Directv it’s like $6 or $7 a month regardless the number of Directivos you have. To those that haven’t used a DVR, it seems like a waste… however once you go DVR you won’t go back.

Well, I think the fact that she’s pregnant and Jin is impotent is interesting. She swears she never knocked boots with anybody else but she was getting awfully close to her English teacher in those flashbacks. And she said she was planning on leaving Jin.

I’m wondering if Jack and Locke are catching on that Henry is playing both of them. I’m not sure if he is really an “other” but there is definetly something different about him. I’m a bit curious though, he seems to be really surprised about the computer and food in the hatch. I would have thought an “other” would have known all about it but then again they obviously didn’t know about Desmond.
Good observation by Anna on why he didn’t have a beard. Next week looks good, word on the street is all new episodes for several weeks.
I thought it was a good first new episode after having lots of repeats. Henry Gale is either an Other or a Moron. I’ld really like to see the first, but I’m starting to feel its the second. I mean honestly, sitting there at the table basically plotting outloud as if he was an Other?! What kind of moron… Charlie’s “humor isn’t his strong suit, , and i’m telling this to you” comment was pretty funny I thought. I also got the feeling watching the episode that Sun didn’t tell the whole truth about her getting knocked up.
What about Gale being apart of the Hanso foundation? Story fake, balloon (if found) planted, and just there to make everything not so gilligan’s isle-ish? Just a possibility.
Was anyone else upset when Jack came out of the shower instead of Kate?
Did anyone else notice at the beginning when Anna came running up what Locke said to her, " you’re running like the devil is chasing you". That is the exact line Desmond said to Jack (the first time he was introduced to the program) when Jack was running the stairs waiting for the results of the miracle operation on his future wife.
It looks like Kate might be captured next week as Henry clued into this week or at least that is what I am gathering from the previews and Henry also looks like he sets the hatch into chaos to help gain his escape.
Has Sawyer or Locke ever been shown in the plane or at the airport leading up to boarding as some of the other characters have? I can not remember any during the flashbacks which is interesting if true.
