Lost (May Contain Spoilers!!)
I’d like to hear Ms. Clue dialogue again. She asked if Walt had ever been lost or appeared in some other place?

They did show the background, at least some of it, on Michael/Walt and his mom. I don’t remember anything weird about Walt then.

And who’s on the new boat?
Ya, I thought it was interesting ms. clue asking specifically about walt appearing where he shouldn’t be… more interesting was michaels reaction. While I don’t recall michael ever personally seeing walt (that we know of… yet)… he definatley heard the stories about walt appearing to others on the island.

no idea about the boat (im guessing a new 2-3 losties), but it was one hell of a nice boat.

In the preview for next week you can see Desmond running through the woods (thanks to TiVo’s slow motion). Remember that Desmond said he was in a sailboat race around the world, so if I had to guess I’d say it’s Desmond’s.

That’s my thinking, it’s Desmond or his replacement. But I would think that if you are on a race around the world in a sailboat, you would be in a bigger boat or they could possibly be closer to land than is lead to believe.

Saw this on the other board and thought it interesting.

It seems people die off once they get thier stuff sorted out. The examples given were:

boon gets over his sister – dead.
maggie gets over herself – dead.
ana lucia decides she’s not a killer – dead.

Not so sure about Libby.

Legit source, based on past posts so do NOT…I repeat DO NOT click this link if you do not want the entire season finale spoiled for you. I had a moment of weakness and read it all. Kind of wish I hadn’t now. Anyway, if you really want to know what happens next week, in detail, you can go to this link:

who was maggie? i don’t remember her…

who was maggie? i don't remember her...

Just a hunch but I’m guessing he was referring to Shannon who’s real name is Maggie Grace.

same here… I WILL BE STRONG!!!

Hurley was making the TV rounds this morning promoting Wed. finale and said that they were still filming as of last week and producers had “leaked” some information to throw people off. Take it for what it is worth since the previews seem to match up with the final episode leak.

I’m not going to check for any spoilers but JCL do you think this will be a better finale than last season?

so is Locke “him”?

Can’t believe no one has responded to last nights episode…I thought it was great…

best new mystery for me…the giant foot with 4 toes…what is that about…

cant wait till next season

Yep… great finale. It did answer some questions which was nice.

I guess Desmond’s girl knows about the experiments on the island and is looking for him. Earlier in the episode at the stadium she said something to the effect of “if you have enough money you can find anyone.”

Great show last night. I was a little bit disappointed in the final scene, it didn’t have the bang like last season but after talking to some co-workers it’s actually a very good ending.

I’m glad to see that there were a lot of things answered (or so I thought) unlike the X-Files which I was never really able to figure out.

I thought Desmond’s flashback was great and seeing that Libby gave him the boat, will we see her backstory next season? I still think there is a lot we can learn from her story.

How about Henry being one of the top dogs for the “others” and Sayid had him figured out.

I also wonder if we’ll see Smokey again or if that is no longer a part of the story. A whole new can of worms has been opened up and now the outside world knows something is going on.

Great, great finale! Thank God I Tivoed it and started watching it around 10PM so I could mow through the commercials. A few things:

One thing that kind of bugs me about the show is the characters’ seemingly blase reactions to bizarre events. After the magnetic pulse thingy went off and the entire sky went white and an earsplitting humming sound was heard everywhere… Claire was the only one to say anything about it by asking Charlie.

Speaking of Charlie, he was acting VERY strange after Desmond turned the key and shit hit the fan. He walked back to the camp as if nothing really happened, even asking why Locke and Eko hadn’t beat him there. WTF? Locke and Eko might be grease spots on the island somewhere after Desmond turned that key. The door to the hatch flies down from about 1000 feet in the air… either blasted out, or magnectically pushed out from the “pulse”. I can’t wait to see what the hatch looks like now. Maybe the area noted as “?” has been exposed…

Call me a nit picker (I can’t help it because I’m a sailor), but if you’re gonna sail a sailboat, why fly the mainsail only? That thing had a rollerfurl jib and everything. With just the main it would take so much longer to go anywhere. As detailed they are with the show I’m suprised they didn’t fly the damn jib like someone would if they wanted to actually get somewhere in good time. That was just weird, and possibly an oversight from the producers. Or, maybe the actors didn’t feel comfortable with the jib up because you really have to pay attention when it’s flying or somebody might get hurt/fly overboard if they backwind it.

I hope they don’t expect us to swallow the explanation of the plane going down from the “system failure”/magnetic thing that happened when Desmond let the time run down. I suppose an electromagnetic pulse would hose the electronics of an airplane, so I can accept that as a cause, but it still doesn’t explain how any of the people walked away from the crash, especially the taillies.

The 4-toed foot of the statue is just bizarre. Perhaps as bizarre as Smokey was.

I still can’t come up with a theory as to why the “others” dress up and pretend to be ragamuffins.

So many more things to talk about but not enough time…

I am struck by at once by how accurate the spoiler was and at the same time how inaccurate it was as well. Lots of major things that they said would happen, didn’t.

As far as the epi itself, I thought it was very good and entertaining. I was disappointed by the lack of any real answers except for the fact that Desmond bought the plane down by not pushing the button. I did like all the back story with Desmond and his chance meeting with Libby. The interactions with the others was entertaining, but I would have liked to have found out “Who” they are. I’m starting to think now they are some sort of cult possibly. It will be interesting to see if Echo, John and Desmond are alive or dead. I did like when Jack call out Michael, though I would have like for him to beat the shit out of him.

And Finally I saw a Hanso commercial.

So the others have some people standing by to meet up with Michael and Walt yet they can’t leave or can they?

What’s the tie in with Desmond’s ex’s dad and the race? I missed some of that?

Maybe Charlie is coming down with the sickness? Remember all of the French woman’s people died from the sickness. And I think the easy explanation of the hatch door is that it flew off the hatch since we saw Eko looking at it. But what if that hatch feel from outerspace or it blew off from another part of the hatch, or a different hatch all together?

I still think the electromagnetics brought down the plane but good point on them surviving. It’s odd that you were either dead or you walked away with minimal injuries. Aside from the FBI agent with Kate, no one that I recall had serious life threatening injuries.

Next season should be interesting the others know they are not fooling the losties with their beards and now Jack, Kate and Sawyer will see how these guys operate and what equipment they have.

Lost is badass. Thats all I have to say for now… Great final episode. Let the Lost Experience continue.
