Lost (May Contain Spoilers!!)
CPA, I heart Kate more!

Could do with a lot less V advertisements next week. Sucked when it covered up the Korean translations.
Well I’m glad I’m not the only one that supports Kate! She’s getting a lot of hate on this board.

I agree on the V advertisements, it was annoying and I couldn’t read what Sun wrote! And a count down wasn’t necessary.

What was Jin’s job with Dharma? I’m wondering what he knew about the electromagnetic stuff. I wouldn’t peg him as a scientist.

Wasn’t he on the security team with Miles, working under Sawyer?

That would put him in a position to know.

I would like Kate more if they mostly showed her from behind and she never talked. Actually I’d like her a lot then.

I’m changing my stance on Desmond merging the two timelines next week. Instead, a flash sideways with Desmond would be a logical place to bring back Faraday, Hawkins, and Penny. It also appears that the flash sideways are heading towards all of the cast members being at the hospital. Claire with her baby, Sun and Jin, Jack working there, and Locke getting a consult. Somehow I would assume Hurley, Sawyer, and Kate will end up there as well. I have no friggin idea why though.

Jin’s job was security with Dharma so he would know where all of the pockets of EM are. Desmond has previous EM exposure. Bring Desmond to the EM? Why?

Great call. That would be a clean way to tie it all together.

I’m going to try and answer my own question. Yes, I am that cool.

Widmore knows about Desmond’s condition via Hawking. Widmore could attempt to use Desmond to change the past. Sounds reasonable.

Yeah it does. Perhaps change the past so that he never leaves the island!

Have I mentioned tomorrow is a Desmond episode? Two of the top five episodes of the entire series are “The Constant” and “Flashes Before Your Eyes”.

I said it two weeks ago; writers don’t let me down.

Desmond kicks ass!

best episode of the season thus far.

Awesome episode.

I need to see this episode again though. When Farraday is explaining it all my phone rang and I missed the first part of his explanation of what happened when he sent in the Quantum Physics stuff to the lab professor.

The prof just told him that only a person who had been studying physics their entire life would be able to write out something like that on paper.

Thats all it took to convince him that he had set off a nuke??!!

So obviously now Desmond is the lynchpin. It was cool to see him know that. Makes you excited for the rest of the season. So now I think the rest of the season is set up with probably Desmond gathering everyone in the other timeline. Maybe thats why he can’t see the guest list?

desmond has been the lynchpin in a lot of things, like how he had to “make contact” with some one to stop the time traveling.

I think that the guest list is just the wrong list he needed to be looking for.

This episode really threw me at first. The whole time I was thinking that this season was “what if the plane had landed”. Then apparently desmond is on the plane?

Coolest part to me was the “Not Penny’s Boat” on Charlie’s hand. Nice throwback to a previous episode.

I did find the passenger list and guest list interesting since Jacob was big on lists.

Good episode. I have to admit my expectations were way too high for it, but I did enjoy it.

We finally get to know what’s the deal with the alt timeline. Hawkins is somehow aware of time and alternate realities. Perhaps she made a deal with either Jacob or the MiB. They have both promised to bring back people’s lost loved ones. Now Desmond is aware too, but Hawkins doesn’t want Desmond to mess the ALT one up. Makes perfect sense now why she’d sent Faraday back knowing she’d shoot him.

So I assume all characters in the ALT will become aware of their other selves - a merger of their consciousnesses.

Sweet, I never thought about all the characters becoming self aware.

I thought Eloise said that she didn’t want Desmond to see the list yet. Could it be that she is waiting for something to happen first? Perhaps all the characters becoming self aware?

Im also thinking that Eloise has always been able to shift between timelines like desmond is now doing.

Thought the same thing. About the flash sideways not being a flash sideways after all, but a flash forward.

I thought for a second there, with Desmond and Charlie going to the hospital, that the hospital theory had legs. But since they left, I think the hospital theory can’t happen now.

Didnt Jacob tell Richard that he can’t bring people back? I thought I remember Richard asking Jacob to bring his girl back and jacob said he couldnt do that so he let Richard live forever.

Did we know that Whitmore and Eloise were together when they were on the island? I cant remember.

They were together on the island.
