Mavs or Heat

How do you know?

It was definitely “The Announcement” that did it for me. I don’t blame Lebron for wanting to and eventually leaving Cleveland. And in general I don’t pull against him. But the way his move was handled was annoying.

Plus, I’ve been a Nowitki fan for years and got tired of hearing how he was soft because he had never won a title.

I’m going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things that I want with me and my family and be happy with that.”

When he said that I just sat there like “wow, buddy… keep digging that grave.”

He has no sense of reality.

Lebron is a bit childish and narcissistic. The way he left for Miami, his ‘you’re lives are crap’ comments last night, and coughgate back this up. This type of behavior made me root for Dallas. It’s not as bad as Kidd’s battery, but it’s fresher in all of our minds. This is the sound byte era afterall.

With that said, he’s just a little prickish–which is a far cry from starting a dog fighting ring, killing someone while drunk driving, or any number of things that you see NFL’ers and politicians do seemingly all the time.

You’ve got to feel good for Dirk though.

Let’s add taking the video away after getting dunked on, ripping your jersey off after losing, not shaking hands after losing… he’s pretty much a 12 year old in a 27 year old body, if things aren’t going right he takes his ball and goes home.

Seriously, that may have been the worst one of all! I had forgotten about that one, but at the time I was flabbergasted at him.

Should Lebron have stayed in Cleveland? Dunno- not my call.

Was “The Decision” one of the dumbest things ever? Yes- that’s what happens when you listen to “your boys” instead of pros

Is he one of the best players or the best player in the league? no doubt

Will he ever win a title(s)? I’d bet on it

Funny thing is, he’s a little immature but seems to be an ok guy to be arguably the best player in a prima donna league- I just don’t get why everybody hates him so much.

The Decision to air the Decision on Espn wasn’t stupid. People in Cleveland are just anal. Hey you go be stuck in Cleveland over Miami. Women, weather, women, low taxes, women, location, women. Yeah, f*ck Cleveland!

It’s true. The NBA has no real relevance to people’s actual lives. Luckily for Lebron, folks haven’t caught on to this or he might have to do something productive for a living. That wouldn’t be easy with only a high school education.

An hour long “special” for something in reality that takes about 10 seconds is stupid.

I wonder if this will ever happen with people. I enjoy the Panthers. But every year it becomes more difficult for me to justify spending $100 on a single Panthers game, while the players make millions.

Normmm you spend $100 to go see a Panthers game when I watch it for $0. :)) :)) :))

There’s nothing like being around 50-60k people and seeing the game live in person (especially if the team is doing well). That’s something you will never get in the recliner at home.

So true - but the question is what is the value in seeing the game live? $100? $200? $500? There is a tipping point for the average fan where they say it isn’t worth it. At some point the fans just quit coming - particularly if the product on the field isn’t winning. It happens to all sports, but the NFL has stayed fairly immune due to the low number of games, but it won’t be like that forever.

Just remember that you get to watch it for free because of people like Normm who actually buy the tickets. If they don’t purchase the tickets, you don’t get to see the game because it would be blacked out.

If Normmm not going results in a blackout…I beg you to please stay home.

Yea but SCK can’t fap with 50-60k people around him.

That’s what I’m getting at. I wonder if we will ever see the tipping point. It seems like we would. But it could just be that we are becoming old and crotchety. I am positive that the NFL expanding their season is something that everybody is against, except the owners.
