Hopkins would be great but for how long
Who cares?
Give me three or four good years, move on to a bigger job. As long as we get back to making the NCAA Tourney again and being relevent, I’m happy with the young energetic guys.

it is always better to follow the guy that followed THE guy, than to follow THE guy. In other words, I wouldn’t want to follow JB’s reign.
If cuse wants to hand us some money in 4 years cause Hopkins was that successful, I’ll take it.
Even if we have no shot at this dude, props on making public. Again feeds the msg to the industry we wanna ink a stud. Only risk is when and how many denials there are made public
Makes me think we are close since so many confirmations going on
Sorta surprised that a program like Syracuse would have fans gravitating to a newspaper website instead of one specifically sports-related. I think URI is the only A-10 fan website connected to the local daily, but at least Projo.com is current on layout. BTW, worst A-10 website (layout-wise, that is) is the GW one, followed closely by one for Duquesne.

I think Syracuse fans have legit message boards, but there might be enough of a fan base that uses the syracuse.com because they can post about community related events on that site as well.
This isn’t so much the case. Syracuse has done most of its work with under the radar talent. They don’t historically land the blue chippers that a Kansas, Duke, UNC-CH or even UConn land. I think part of that is they recruit guys that fit their system instead of just overall talent.
thats not at all true. carmelo, warrick, flynn, etc. all five star talents. they have a five star center coming in next year. they can recruit with anybody.

Reread what I wrote.
They are a top 5 program, of course they will land 5 star recruits. However, they don’t land the McDonald’s AAs like Kansas, Duke, UCLA, and UNC-CH do. I think their recruiting talent level is closer to that of Michigan State, while not bad at all, is not elite like the aforementioned schools.
