But Healy did what we needed him to. He energized the program and became a media darling so he garnered enough press to help Hill close the deal into the AAC.
Doesnât matter to me what he does from here on out. Mission accomplished. If he turns it aroundâŚgreat. If he doesnât and gets firedâŚoh well. We are in the AACâŚbasketball has a chance to be important again.

Completely agree. Will has done what we needed him to do; promote our program. We need visibility and local buy-in. Iâm confident in Will and our admin to make good decisions. Good times ahead!

Despite my aggravation with the recent games. We are still having the second best season in program history.

Nahh. The AAC has some allotted ABC games every year, and ECU rarely has gotten any of them as bad as weâve been. Certainly not added in late November. If we were 3-8 again we wouldnât have this game, no matter what Cincy was. That game was added late because we are relevant again and even had an outside chance at the conference title still when it was added if SMU would have beat Cincy.
I believe thatâs something they also were preparing for a because it was announced before SMU when Cincy still had a chance to lose and had looked beatable. They wouldnât have been #2 but that would have been a showdown game for the right to play Houston. Regardless itâs a big win for ECU to have this game on ABC on Friday afternoon when a lot of people are off work. Cincyâs the draw for the average viewer sure but itâs at ECU and a good way to announce we are relevant again either way.
If you guys are so gungho AAC now get your pom poms ready to pull for your ECU boys because Cincy winning means nothing to you or the AAC brand at this point. You should want to spoil them as they just take all the credit to the Big 12 anyway. We donât need them in the playoffs propping up the Big 12 brand if the AAC wants to stay close.

Personally I will be rooting for ECU. Even if Cincy wins so many people are already counting them out of playing for the championship anyway. Being a native North Carolinian, I think it is great that ECU football is relevant again. Also nice to see NCSU doing well. Would love to see them beat the team that shall remain nameless.
At this point I want Cincy to win to further expose how the P5 is rigging the play off system and the lengths they will contort themselves in doing it. Yesterday MSU was ranked 7th in the country and getting skulled f@ cked at halftime 49 - 0 with one of the worst passing defensive in the country.
Back on topic. EZU and their never venture outside of 50 miles of their county fans suck!!!

I think you need to at least win your division to move up, now they could justify the hire using his JMU success but theyâre a 500lb gorilla in FCS. Duke is a much smaller animal in the ACC haha.

I would be surprised if he leaves this year, if our QB agreeâs to come back for year 5. Houston almost cried talking about him and the team after the Memphis game. I think heâs going to be content running it back with this group at least one more time until someone better than Duke comes calling.
1:30 in. The QB is from Greenville too and his Dad has been the PA announcer for 20 years. He grew up an ECU fan so I think he comesback. 5 year starter potentially.
Its Houston. He would dump you in a heartbeat for the money. His word means squat.
Also ECU sucks.
