Vertigo was awesome.
I guess you can say Casablanca. It doesnt really have a plot twist as it does a surprise ending.
Casablanca doesn’t have a plot twist. Just an awesome plot.

Couldn’t agree more.
The actual quote is “No, I am your father”
I wasn’t quoting vader per say, but quoting Chris Farley from Tommy Boy.
and I agree with Fight Club and Vertigo.
and of course, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
I worked at Blockbuster when that movie came out.
Best twist: Cable Car Classic.

What was the great plot twist in that?

I liked the plot twist in Mighty Ducks when Adam Banks gets traded to the Ducks and has to play against his old team the Hawks for the Pee Wee Hockey Championship.

Now we’re talking. How about when his old teammates take him out and then he finally announces to the world that he is a Duck?
I googled ‘Movie Twists’ and one move I saw that wasnt mentioned was ‘12 monkeys’. I remember watching the movie, being blown away by it and then reading the book!
Oh another one I found. ‘The Forgotten’.
If I remember right (Spoiler)
The ending involved aliens had their kids or something? It was weird.
One movie that had a significant plot twist for the worst was The Departed.
I enjoyed that movie a ton, but the plot twist in the elevator was stupid and pissed me off.
Yeah, there was some bull**** in that movie. What happened to Leo was lame as ****.
the judge was the murderer
I think you mean that he was a toon… everyone was pretty sure he was the murderer.

I love the part where the camera pans up to the stands during the final game and there is a shot of Adam Banks dad cheering for the Hawks, even though Adam plays for the ducks. Pee Wee Hockey tearing families apart!
God that’s a fantastic movie!
As mentioned already, I thought 6th Sense and The Village are right up there near the top.
Speaking of The Others, what the hell happened to Shyamalan? Ever since The Village, his movies have tanked. He used to be my favorite writer/producer out there but I’ve nearly walked out of his last two (Lady and The Happening) flicks. He almost jumped the shark with Lady In the Water alone. The Happening was a little better but still a major letdown.
He has a couple new ones coming out (The Last Airbender in 2010 and Devil in 2011). The former doesn’t sound like anything I’d be interested in but I’m holding out hope for Devil.
Another good plot twist: When Sandy turns herself into a slut for Danny towards the end of Grease.
The Illutionist was pretty good, had a little twist.

The others wasn’t him, but 6th Sense was. I don’t really think much of him as a filmmaker. 6th Sense was fantastic. Unbreakable was okay, but forced. Signs was terrible.
