When they’re done, these photos would make a nice time lapse presentation.
That is what I am hoping. I have some taken at the same spot from the day we officially announced, the groundbreaking, last week, and will try to get out there every week or 2 until August 2013.

Any one else get giddy looking at these construction pictures?
Going to be awesome when they actually start laying the bricks to build the stadium.

Bricks are no longer used as a structural material, so you don’t build anything with them really anymore. They’re just a veneer.

clt built his house with brick, and it is yet to blow in.
Well we’ve made it till mid-week without a Stadium construction webcam. They did say WEEK of the 20th… :

Me do! Me likee!
So the comment about the camera being up this week appears to have disappeared from the Charlotte 49ers Facebook page. Guess we’re in for more wait time.
Get on it man! Someone has to notice if you keep up the hard work!
Am I the only one amazed at how quick this is going? I mean I expected dragging our feet a little more. I know there is a tight timeline and all, but I am very excited to see things moving along at a quicker pace than I expected!
Charlotte49ers on Facebook says:
We have been told that a camera is to be in place today with an active link available at next week. The link will be available on Charlotte49ers.com, as well as a post to Facebook and Twitter.
Nice!
Went by a little while ago. The pile of dirt on the left of ID’s photo is about 25 feet high. There are smaller piles all over the future practice fields site. There were also small piles of similar rocks laid together. Oddly enough, both baseball fenced in backstops have not been removed.
It will be really cool to take one of these photos and then look at the same vantage a few years down the line and GADOOSH there’s an epic football stadium from nothing.
Anyone know what the Arizona desert rock formation lookin field remnants are in 49FBN’s pics?
