Davidson beat us last year because one of their players had a career day and Briscoe had a flat tire. Davidson matches up very well with many programs. The only issue is most of those programs are D-II as is the quality of the average athlete at Davidson.

Letās not give those geese killers any more incentive. Davidson beat us last year because, well, we just werenāt very good last year.
You know they are losing the coaches son, which is also the guy that put up 21 on us last year⦠we beat them by 14 in Halton.
Are we actually concerned that Davidson students are trolling our website? Are we also concerned that said students actually have enough say with the Athletic Program at Davidson to have something like this posted in the locker room? I belive both assumptions are highly unlikely.

We will beat Davidson. I think the last time we played them in Halton was when the Alumni team of MK, Over, Lefty, and Smoothie dominated the team of losing students during the halftime activities.
Very confused with this thread. Where are Kentucky and Elon on the schedule? Did someone make a mistake?
5.5/10
Davidson SUCKS! That is all.

I do expect to win either Ark or Memphis. Since I am going to Memphis I am going with that one. With that said the ECU and Davidson games are the two that I consider must wins in the OOC schedule.
I think NA has made it VERY clear that he is NOT going to post the BR preview for the Niners, so looks like itās not going to show up here.
Just FYI - I paid $1 for a 12 mos subscription to ESPN the mag and got insider access for free.

Between injuries and āotherā things, Miami-FL looks to be short-handed when they come to Halton.
Miamiherald.com: UM senior forward DeQuan Jones will sit out entire season
āWHā over on the A10 board has made OOC predictions for Charlotte: http://www.basketballforum.com/atlantic-10-conference/463229-charlotte-noncon-forecast.html
11-11 Charlotte vs. NC Central - WIN 11-15 Charlotte at Central Michigan - LOSS 11-19 Charlotte at Lamar - WIN 11-22 Charlotte vs. East Tennessee State - WIN 11-26 Charlotte at Wright State - WIN 12-03 Charlotte at East Carolina - LOSS 12-06 Charlotte at Radford - WIN 12-10 Charlotte vs. Davidson - WIN 12-19 Charlotte vs. CoppinState WIN 12-22 Charlotte vs. Miami - LOSS 12-28 Charlotte at Arkansas - LOSS 12-31 Charlotte at Memphis - LOSS 01-18 Charlotte vs. Kennesaw State - WINNoncon Forecast: 8-5
NC Central has a good starting backcourt and a couple of BCS transfers and could be trouble, but the Niners squeeze by at home. Central Michigan lost 20 games last year but much more is expected. The starting backcourt is one of the better ones in the MAC and the coachās son is a budding star (stayed home despite bigtime BCS interest). A-10 teams have not fared well on the road vs. MAC teams.
Pat Knight takes over Lamar and has some decent returning players, but the post game is weak and I canāt see the Niners losing back to back to C. Michigan and Lamar. East Tennessee is well coached and won 24 games last year, but their top three scorers graduated and the Niners catch them early at a good time.
Wright State lost four starters and tons of experience and is in revamping mode. East Carolina won 18 games last year - the most in almost 15 years - and return a deep roster. A beatable team, but they nip the Niners at home. Radford lost 24 games last season and they are not ready to beat a decent team, even at home.
Davidson returns four starters and loads of experience after winning 18 games last year. Tough game, but Niners pull it out. Coppin State could have its best team in years. Four quality starters return. Big problem is an unsettled PG situation. Niners battle through to win a tough one.
Miami comes to town with new coach JimLarranaga. The Canes have a fine starting backcourt and plenty of athleticism. Definitely ripe to be beaten down by the hometown Niners, but coach Jim works his magic to pull off a win. Niners lose their second straight at Arkansas. The Hogs are young but very athletic and new coach Mike Anderson knows how to get a team in good working order very quickly. Memphis is loaded with experienced sophomores who have the size, athleticism and skills to make the Tigers a potential top 10 team.
Charlotte ends a three game skid by pile-driving Kennesaw State.
Gosh I hope WH is wrong. Not what I wanted to hear. At least last year we had some āupsetā wins that gave us hope [Tenn, GT]⦠this projection has none of that.
We have the ability to go undefeated until Miami. Just gotta see how it goes.
I donāt like how WH has us losing to CMU and EZU. He might be right. I see those games as very important.
We win at home to NCCU, no big deal. We lose at Memphis, no big deal. Butā¦
CMU and EZU are different. Those are winnable road games.
Iād love to get all pissy⦠But he has been right more often than not.
One of these years we will exceed expectations, this year is as good as any to do it- the schedule makes a great OC record very doable.
Will is the most knowedgeable dude on the A-10 Iāve seen. Knew Bobby couldnāt coach D as well as I did and also knew he coached it outside-in. Exactly backward.
That being said, nobody knows what we have yet. Hopefully the new guys can play.
