If they let them play and then end up disqualifying them from the team I think they would take the wins from the team. Isnāt that what they do if they catch someone midseason? I know it is on the High School levelā¦
Yes, that is the current rule system. It needs to be changed, they are handcuffing a player (and potentially a team) because a player MIGHT be ineligable. If the school gets all of the information in on time there is no reason a player should have to sit out just because the NCAA is slow. It is a guilty until proven innocent system right now, it should change.
I agree with everything negative said about the NCAA Clearinghouse, but didnāt āweā submit the paperwork late to them, since PJ was signed right at the last moment before the school year started?
Phil Jones will get an answer this afternoon.
The answer had better be CLEARED.

Cāmon Jason, I want good news! I demand good news! I may go postall on the NCAA if notā¦

Phil Jones will get an answer this afternoon.
Awesome, I know he will be cleared. He is just the man.
How long have you been a Niner fan? You should know that the games we should win easily regardless of injuries or anything else are ussually the games that we struggle to win or actually lose.
Please re-read my post. It had the word SHOULD in it. BTW, I donāt ever remember us having a GOOD year and losing to a team like North Texas St. If we lose to them, weāre in for a long year.
Since 1984 to answer your question.
Gill, I don't know if you went to LL in the past but they often allow you to write down questions for Lutz as a member of the audience.
been there, had a picture taken
I just didnt want Lutz to get 50 of the same question.
Ah thatās right. I think you had it in your signature file. Just donāt want to assume plus itās good for anyone else who might be a first-timer in attendence to go there.
BTW I hit up Hamās for the first time last night (might as well fess up⦠forgot LL is tonight not last night). They got it right. When I walked in, I was expecting to see a lot of ACC stuff per previous posts. Nope. Charlotte stuff all over the place. Felt right at home and the food was great.

Any news?
I doubt it.
I like J4L as much as the next guy (uhhh)ā¦but heās no Lefty when it comes to inside info.

Interesting you say that since Lefty said on NinerReport.com that theyāre expecting a Phil Jones decision this afternoon. After J4L.
If heās cleared today, I wouldnāt doubt that they might hold out until LL tonight to announce. Itās almost like getting a new player all over again!

He WORKS for the ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT. He knows before NinerReport does. Nice try though.
No decision either way. Unlikely for this weekendās games.

truth revoluti0wned.
Phil Jones will get an answer this afternoon.
Well, does anyone know the answer??? J4L???
Maybe coach will give the answer at the radio show. And maybe Big Phil will open things up against Hofstra⦠I could see that, I mean, if he were given the chance.
Charles Dewhurst sat right behind me @ the volleyball game a few mins ago and he got a call. He picked up and said āHey, has coach said you could play yetā and then Dewhurst said, āWell, Iām sure heāll say something soonā
So i donāt know. I donāt like to base conclusions off of hearsay so Iāll leave the conclusions to other people.
Lutz said he has not either been cleared or ruled ineligible i.e. exactly what Lefty said a few posts above. His statements were odd in that they did not -exclude- the possibility he could be given the green light tomorrow, but made it clear that it was very unlikely heāll play. Somewhat mixed messages, but Iād handicap it at 95% he wonāt play.
