Iām beginning to suspect that the NCAA has no intention of clearing him before conference play, just in case he actually improves us - best to save him for then so we can tear down conference foes who might otherwise get a bid into their BCSerrr NCAA tournament.

NA, the NCAA is also holding up 3 guys at Rhode Island, including Delroy James (Rivals #123), a teammate of Jones at Laurinburg.
BTW, Xavier just re-signed 6-9 JuCo C Charles Bronson, who is a graduate of Philly Lutheran. If X gets the paperwork in now, perhaps the NCAA will clear him to play by his senior season! :rolleyes:

I donāt know if the NCAA is making a bigger deal about Philly Lutheran than Oak Hill (they probably should, Philly Lutheran sounds like a real diploma mill where Oak Hill is a very good school) but Tywan Lawson was from Oak Hill and he played for the Tarheels last night and Oak Hill made the NCAAās 2nd list of questionable schools. Itād be interesting to see if any BCS schools picked up kids from Philly Lutheran and if so if they have been cleared yet.
