Please don’t hire Quin Snyder. He did nothing at Missouri, except scandals. Also, I really don’t want anyone with UNC Tarheel connections. I just couldn’t take it. Other than that, I think someone can be found who can make this team, which has some very nice players, into a tournament team next year, easily.
Pay Xavier for them to supply us a list of people they interviewed before hiring Chris Mack.
Hire from that list. They have been spot on.
The only coach that would go good with this fan base is…this is a tough one…is…tough…
- Ronald McDonald (prob. would turn the job down…too proud)
- Spongebob Square Paints(perfect!!!)
- Will Ferrell (dumb, but would fit nicely with fan base)
- Scooby Doo (may be too old)
- Jo Jo the Clown (close first…could bring entertainment and recruits in)
I know its a tough call but I would go with Spongebob…that would go nicely with the other dumba** fans in the stands…
Get what you deserver Charlotte and JUDY ROSE…
I understand the hurt feelings, I’ve been there.
That said, please stop junking up the threads.

Charlotte:Former Coach: Bobby Lutz (fired)
Potential Charlotte Coach Candidates: Dalonte Hill - Kansas St. assistant, Joe Dooley - Kansas assistant, Brad Brownell - Wright St. coach, Rob Moxley - Charlotte assistant from Lutz staff
I think Wojo would be a great fit for the school. Obviously he has NC connections, comes from a winning program and has studied under one of the greatest coaches in the game. He certainly brings energy and passion. I believe I read at one point he was one of the coaches charged with working with the bigs at Duke. Since he’s been there he’s worked with some very good ones in Battier, Shelden Williams, Boozer, Singler, etc. He’s from Baltimore originally, and that is a hotspot for our recruiting. No doubt it will help keep Braswell around.
I think this would be a good fit for him because he’ll be local, he won’t be stepping into a “Power” conference and obviously Charlotte is a talent rich area and with his reputation being a former Duke guy it should help us recruit better locally.

I’d love Brownell, but not sure how he and Judy would mesh. He left W because of the AD.

Can we just hire Xavier as a contractor to pick our coach?

It might have got lost in the shuffle, but I posted earlier that it was reported last week that Fordham offered him double his salary (he makes $500k at Siena) and lower admissions standards and he said no thanks.
I think he is looking Big East or make Siena the Gonzaga of the East.
Or just maybe he did not want to coach at Fordham?
i second this.
Here’s a name I can’t believe no one mentioned: Butch Pierre.
Tremendous recruiter (brought in Charles Hayward) and was the interim head coach of LSU. Players were furious when the school did not lift the interim tag and LSU seemed to play much better while Pierre was at the helm. He’s now an assistant under Travis Ford (formerly of UMAss) and I’m sure Pierre would love to show what a mistake LSU made by not making him their full time head coach. I think he would be a home run hire.
It never hurts to ask, the worst thing he can say is no…
absolutly not. he is a terrible coach and a lousy recruiter. i would take bobby a thousand times over before lebo.
