Potential Coaching Hires

I would no longer be a supporter of this program were this to happen…
Here’s a name I can’t believe no one mentioned: Butch Pierre.

Tremendous recruiter (brought in Charles Hayward) and was the interim head coach of LSU. Players were furious when the school did not lift the interim tag and LSU seemed to play much better while Pierre was at the helm. He’s now an assistant under Travis Ford (formerly of UMAss) and I’m sure Pierre would love to show what a mistake LSU made by not making him their full time head coach. I think he would be a home run hire.
Anyone but Benny Moss.

Don’t know a lot about him, but Ken McDonald, HC of Western Kentucky

It shouldn’t happen. We should never forgive or forget the backstabbing, IMO.

You want to win or do you want to be petty? If you want talent and defense, Hill will bring that.

A lot of sports is about second chances. I mean we welcomed back Moxley with open arms after he delivered Vasquez to Maryland…It is a business so I have no problem with what either of them did, especially if it put them in a better position professionally.

Agreed. If Hill can come in here and win, I’d be more than willing to forgive him for the Beasley incident.

You must not have seen Dalonte as a player. Defense? Think Ian Andersen. No doubt about recruiting though.

He must not have seen Dalonte as a recruiter, either. Think Ian Andersen. That’s the only recruit he ever landed to Charlotte in his entire tenure as ‘chief recruiter’ here.

Hmmmm, I could get down with Brownell or Pierre. Its gonna get interesting! We just need someone to pump life back into this program!

Updated list:

Joe Dooley

Surprised Gregg Marshall hasn’t been mentioned.
