Apparently, there’s now a GMC Sierra EV that can “crab walk.” What’s the point?
Will be helpful after the zombie apocalypse leaves streets littered with abandoned cars. If you’re lucky enough to survive the initial onslaught, you can crabwalk your way through the streets and around the obstacles.
This is somewhat related but I just successfully proposed my thesis for structural battery design optimization ![]()
[Swear to God, I just saw this man at CLT airport heading for departure. Wonder if he got there in his cybertruck?

After Scout changed course from only offerring a pure EV, the hybrid version is selling better. Plus, the Scout version is a little different. They seem reluctant to call it a PHEV, but rather an Extended Range EV.
I really like the looks of that thing, and I think a PHEV is a killer idea.
I just worry about 2 things:
- First gen vehicle
- VW is the parent company
The scout plant is visible from 77 on the way to Columbia. It’s freaking massive z
I’ve been wrong about this kind of thing before, but I think this thing has the potential to crush even the initial Telluride or Bronco sales. Provided they don’t screw it up.
The design cues are all there. Tons of practical things people want - buttons for controls, split tailgate, rugged good looking exterior, 4WD with good clearance, metal skid plates, a slide away roof, a freaking column shifter, and a handsome and upscale interior. It could be a massive home run.
clt is confused why you compared the telleride with a scout
