To illustrate that employing the Pack Line defense doesnāt have to equate a low scoring offense, last season CofC (31-4) averaged 80.8 ppg, while Liberty (27-9) averaged 75.2 ppg.
Yep. We just happened to have the pack line expert that didnāt know how to effectively teach and run the pack line nor create offense.

I stand corrected on the pack line.
The problem was Sanchez, not the pack line.
If the next coach plays a pack line, it better be like the 3rd defensive option
Why would that need to be the case? CofC gave up 67.2 ppg last season. Likewise, Libertyās defense averaged 60.9 ppg, so both scored almost 14 ppg more than they gave up.
Anyway, new coach can run whatever defense he wants.

What about an experienced Candidateā¦. Someone who has one multiple conference championships, won NCAA Tournament games, multiple P5 HC jobs, experience the AAC (won the conference)ā¦. turns out he is from Burlingtonā¦ if not him a candidate like this? Does it just make too much sense??

Give me defense as a football priority, but I am sick of defense being the only focus of Charlotte basketball
Seems like if we had someone with the experience of Haith (or someone like him) & a guy like Jim Mora (current UConn HC) our Football Coachā¦ we would be in better shape moving into a more competitive conference.
Or are these type hires just to traditional for us??
