Think deep. Iām sure you can as well.

White also working on resurrecting his own career. Will be interesting to see if he can make the Dawgs a perennial postseason team or end up just another in a long line of coaches who tried but ultimately failed.
What you are saying is then that because the expectations at Indiana are higher then you discount the actually success he had. People seem to forget his first three seasons at Indiana were under NCAA and school sanctions.
I never said Crean was a great coach but just simple disagree with the notion he only had success the two seasons he coached Wade.
Why are we spending so much time discussing Crean when he is not a possibility for Charlotte
Because heās on this Adam Nelson (HoopDirt) list:
Heās at the bottom of the list with Bobby Lutz at 9000+ odds. Not really a possibility for Charlotte.
That would be amazing if true. I remember going to the McDonalds AllAmerica game at the old Coliseum. Worthy and Wilkins would be tough to top. That guard from Gastonia in that same class would onlY make it tougher.
No offense intended but Hal Wissel was a D2 coach before he came to us. I was unfortunately a student for that atrocity.
He may of won a national championship as well, ?? Not sure⦠was he the coach of Tampa?
Wissel won a D-II title at Florida Southern. Coached at Fordham too - successor to Digger Phelps when the latter left the Bronx to take over at Notre Dame in 1971.
HUSTLE BALL!!!
Please donāt, I just ate
The market is a tough one. Better cash in now

āAll is quiet on the western front.ā Hearing nothing about the progress toward hiring a basketball coach. Donāt know if that is good news or bad news.
Mike Hill doesnāt seem like a re-tread kind of guy. You can tell he is outside of the box with the hire or he wants to go after first time HC. Anything to further his reputation as a guy that can identify and select talent. I think we get another outside the box hire or a young up and comer, a la Healy.
Lutz would be outside the box.
Whoever we get better bring the goods. Hillās fate will be determined with Poggi and this next hire. If both are successful and we see Evergreen happen, Hill can coast towards retirement and I will applaud him.
If notā¦things will get ugly and fast around here.
Itās a good thing that we donāt hear anything at this point until both parties agree. A lot of posturing and negotiating is probably going on among all parties. The third-party agency that we have hired wants to keep things on the down low without information getting out. Their reputation is at stake. A lot of leaking would be airing dirty laundry, which is never good.
Hills fate will be determined by Poggi IMO. If Poggi is a bust, that will be 3 busts in a row for big hires for Mike. Hard to survive that at any institution that places any value at all on athletics.
If it were good news we would still turn it into bad news.
Agree, if thereās nothing negative to talk about on this site, we will create something
