I used to respect Ron personally, regardless of his coaching ability. Should give the job to Ferne on interim basis, IF he wants it.

Not sure who your choice would be, but his resume DRASTICALLY exceeds anyone we have had of lately and most on these lists that have been presented.
Mike Brey isnāt coming here and neither is Tom Crean.
My choice would be someone else. Only would take him if he could convince Dwayne Wade to use his remaining eligibility here.

My assumption is it will be someone that none of us have heard of until then. Iām at a point where I really donāt care who he, she or it is as long as we can get back to a winning culture and putting a$$e$ in seats. Something has to change as we near the End of Days with interest by past, current and future fans.

Think it was pretty obvious that next year was going to be a train wreck. Sanchez canāt win a Conf Tourney game with Jhamir, Aly & Briceā¦WTH is gonna happen next year!? Mike knew itā¦and no way in hell was Sanchez getting an extension. Sanchez knew itā¦and knew that another horrid year and a firing would be devastating to his reputation and career. Time to get out before it got ugly!

Next year was set up to be awfulā¦but at least weāre not putting our rebuild off another year by having to keep Sanchez another year.

Tom Rinaldi(?) was just on FNZ and his reaction was to hype on the timing. Not the hiring window as much as how important it is to start out positively in the AAC. How we perform early in the AAC will likely set our position for the foreseeable future in that league. Said simply, this is our chance to reset basketball and get it at the top of a decent league. We arenāt well poised for that now.

Peak Chris Mack would be a home run. He didnāt do great at Louisville and he also made a ton of money. Heās 53. If he was even interested youād have to decide in the interview of he is the guy, meaning does he still have the fire to put in the long hours and heart, blood, sweat, and tears to get us where we need to be.
Or is he just another guy who had a successful career, made millions of dollars and is more interested in being a family man now?
Unfortunately after the Ron debacle I donāt trust Hill to be the best at making those kinds of judgment calls.
