Pretty sure you can stream their stuff on there, plus they post tons of it on YouTube.
Also, if you are one of those guys who loves the conspiracy / UFO / Atlantis / Egypt / younger dryas stuff, may I humbly suggest The Why Files, on YouTube? Itās my favorite guilty pleasure. New episodes every Friday.
Freaking love this channel. Itās so much fun. And very well produced. This guy should probably have a Netflix show, at minimum.
Recently watched āStation 11ā on HBO Max. The 10 episode series is a post apocalyptic saga spanning multiple timelines, telling the stories of survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew while holding on to the best of whatās been lost. Basically a mutated flu kills off 99% of the population the few left over adjust and pick up the pieces to survive. Itās a different type of apocalypses series in that it concentrates primarily on what happens after, not the actual world ending stuff. It can be a little slow at times but overall a pretty good show, imo.
I just finished it a few weeks ago also, it was pretty good, they did a good job with each episode keeping you wondering what happened to everyone. NA is right it did get a little slow but I was too curious to see how the young girl and the man that helped her got separated that it kept my interest. I donāt think Iām giving too much of a spoiler with that sentence, itās a good watch if you are looking for something.
Iāve started on āThe Leftoversā on HBO Max. Iāve only watched the first episode but it seems intriguing. The synopsis is: Three years after the disappearance of 2% of the global human population, a group of people in a small New York community try to continue their lives while coping with the tragedy of the unexplained nature of the event.
Kathleen Kennedy is getting the boot and the franchise is being put in Favreau & Filoniās hands. The box office / streaming #s have spoken. Disney cannot afford for this crapfest KK headed up to continue. So the folks that brought you Mando and the Clone Wars are back in charge. Apparently they did NOT get along with KK. Favreau almost quit at least once. Maybe more. Hated what she was trying to do to the IP. And he was super pissed that she stuck Grogu back into the Mando story because she wanted to sell more toys. Apparently Book of Boba Fett was so bad that they scrapped several episodes (heard 3) and instead filled the season with Mando episodes which is why that BoBF season played out so weird. Funny thing is, those Mando episodes were about the only decent thing from that entire show. Oh and the Boba Fett actor hates that show too. Feels like KK did the Fett dirty.
Also, KK apparently cut all of George Lucasā content (he advised some on Force Awakens) from that movie and muzzled Mark Hamill. Said he was NOT allowed to talk about filming the original trilogy or what Lucas would have wanted when they were filming the sequel trilogy.
She is gone - though she is still trying to hang on in come capacity. Word is that it will be official in June/July. In any case she is no longer calling the shots, thank goodness.
This doesnāt mean that SW is saved, but I think at worst it will be kinda hit and miss, and has a chance to be pretty good again.
Oh and Favreau & Filoni are going big big budget for Mando season 4. They are using it as re-launch for the property.
At this point if we got a steady stream of Mando and Rogue One quality I would be pretty satisfied.
I kept hearing KK was on her way out. Sheās absolutely destroyed the IP. Glad Favs in control. KK is a good example of what happens when you let a non creative shepherd a creative endeavor.
This is a little off topic but did any of you guys read the Brian Daley Han Solo trilogy back in the 80s and think it would make a great stand alone trio of movies?
