Itās a unfiltered raunchy tale of a blue chip college football team and all the predictable shenanigans. Itās good for a laugh, but definitely not something to watch with the kids. I think it originally aired on Spike TV.

Prime Video ads kicked in for me this week. Such a bummer. Iāve got Hulu with ads as well. If I up the package for both, to not have ads, Iām sure weād be paying more for streaming than we were for cable. Itāll be interesting to see if by these streaming services doing this, if cable serices will see increased customers again.
Itās the same model as every other industryā¦ Loss leader til you run off the competition and have a stranglehold on the market, then you delete features / raise prices, til eventually the public is paying more than they were before.
Amazon are not the good guys. Theyāre Wal Mart on steroids, and even greedier. Ever try getting customer support from Amazon anymore? Have fun with that!
Streaming does seem to be edging closer and closer to what cable is. At some point, people may again prefer to have all channels in one location. One saving grace streaming still provides is no contracts.

Itās also just easier. One account. Donāt have to change interfaces. And you often get an internet discount with the bundle.
I havenāt looked into sattelite in close to a decade. But they were losing people so quickly, their prices were already much better than cable. Of course ATT also bought Direct TV during that time, so Iām not sure how that changed things as far as prices go.
Agreed. However, often those competitors go out of business. In this case, cable is surviving.
And yes, well aware Amazon is not the good guys. Lol. They are the biggest monopoly in the world.

I watched a season and a half of the Americans and thought it was great. The missus lost interest and we shifted. Itās in my private watch list now to finish at some point.
Definitely a quality show.
