Can you watch it for free on the AMC app? Or is this another thing we need to pay for?
Itās on FX, or Hulu.
Iām watching it on Hulu right now. Debuts on FX at 10pm.
Pretty good so far. A lot of setup early on, but well written, produced and acted.
Okay, itās not early GoT great ā¦
Yet.
But it just might get there.
If youāre not watching this, youāre missing out.
Best show in the better part of a decade.
Watched the first season of HALO. Went into it never playing the game or knowing any of the canon. Iāve read where many didnāt like it, but I guess thatās because it didnāt follow the game canon exactly. I enjoyed it and will watch the new second season.
Loved the first two episodes of Shogun, this has the potential to be an incredible series.
On top of everything else they can show it in Japan too, with fewer subtitles. Genius series to develop.
Already finished this and started the second season.
Fantastic show all the way through.
Highly recommended.
Based off of the IMDB description it says the premise is to catch a killer. Do they not catch him in season one? Or, is the series like Fargo, where they have a new mystery in season 2?
Watched the first episode last night. It was pretty good. That boiling scene! I had no idea that was Nestor Carbonell portraying Rodrigues. Hadnāt seen him since āLostā.
Nestor is in The Morning Show. If you havenāt watched that, you are missing out.
New killer to catch in season 2. Occurs 13 months after the ending of season 1.
BTW. If any of you liked Killing Eve, one of the leads is the excellent Kim Bodnia who played Constantine in that show.
Cool. Iām going to give it a shot. I was afraid it was going to be like the Blacklist or Stranger Things, where they have a mystery they keep dragging on. I thought both of those shows were good. But by the time I got to season 2, I was done. You can only dangle the same mystery in front of me for so long before I lose interest.
I have felt that Stranger Things has kept the mystery moving forward. It didnāt stagnate like Lost did.
Funny. I thought Lost kept introducing new things, that made you feel like you were getting closer and gave you different questions. Maybe not towards the last season. But the first few seasons certainly did for me.
For Stranger Things I had the same question after the first episode as I did the eighth episode.
Lost was supposed to be only 3 seasons, I believe. Once ABC decided they wanted more, I thought the story became a bit convoluted. Season 1 was hurt by extending the story longer than originally planned (in my opinion).
I do think Stranger Things could be compressed more and is a bit of a slow burn. However, I have enjoyed it.
