Tyler Lewis - 2012

Good shooter and passer but he's pretty small at 5-7/5-8 (16 yrs old, a reclassed sophomore) and not really athletic. Athletic guards give him problems, especially on the defensive side of the ball. He'll play somewhere.

He’s 5-10/11" and will play high DI ball.

i think everyone is couting on him growing to at least 6’0". if he does he will be a five star player.

So it looks like we got Colby (didn’t know if anyone made mention of that), he is walking on next season and will add to our depth at PG. So what are we going to do with all these PG?!

That is where I found it, at least on his blog

was just kidding with you, been known for a while he was walking on

Hope this works in our favor if we want his brother.

Don’t want a CJ, Chris Leak situation that happened at UT and pretty much pushed Chris to UF.

Update on the kid on niner report.

Per the Big O, Lewis named sophomore class co-MVP of the “Clash of the Border” N.C.-S.C. all-star game at USC this past weekend.

[BTW, North Meck junior Bernard Sullivan named junior class MVP of same event.]

“Bump” since Lewis attended 2009 Niner Madness…

Seemed to be a solid 6 foot when I walked by him.

I hope you didn’t talk, make eye contact, or look at him, it would probably be an NCAA infraction…

True…just checking his height.

The guy sitting behind me wanted to start a Tyler Lewis chant. Ultimately we decided against it due to the NCAA thing. Not sure if that was the right choice or not.

Fail…

There’s nothing against chanting a recruit’s name at a game or otherwise.

:hammer:

Auburn, Appalachian State, Charlotte, High Point, Richmond and VCU. North Carolina, Wake Forest and Florida are in the recruiting picture. North Carolina has watched him twice, including one visit from Aww shucks good ol’ I am a psycho path and might start crying right now Roy Williams.

WFU has some connections with the FCD staff.

We lead as of now but the kid keeps impressing.

Last game he hit a 3 pointer 3x to push the game to 3 OT’s and in the 3rd OT hit the game winning free throws to win it.

Kid is a player. If he does not hit a growth spurt the better our chances become but the big boys are starting to notice as more time goes by.

It would be a huge get.

He can be seen courtside at almost all Niner games with his Mom and Dad in tow

Seems like a very nice kid…doesn’t smile much.I’ve seen him go back to our locker room after a # of games.
