The problem with dying before trial is they can’t find you innocent, so if you didn’t do it, no one is looking for the real killer. I think this guy & the other were both mentally incompetent to figure out a grand master murder plan. Maybe if they’re innocent it can come out at the other guy’s trial so the police would look elsewhere.
Of course the way the SBI is, they may frame the living guy, the atty. may say blame the dead guy, & the living guy goes along with it because he’s told to, & then we never find the real killer.
i will vote for you if you ever decide to run for judge.
That reminds me… you can vote for a fellow 49er in the up-coming District Atty’s race in Mecklenburg County. Andrew Murray is a 49er alum and would appreciate your support!
The trial still seems like a sham. No Dna on the victim from either man, the one on trial or the one who died? Why do I get the feeling the Belmont PD just wanted to get the case over with, to hell with a guilty person walking around. No Dna, you can’t convict.
I was surprised that he was found guilty. From what I’ve read in the paper there didn’t appear to be enough evidence to find him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Go to their website and the have the full episode online. Thats where I watched it.
I watched it, it was interesting and sad.
What I wish they explored more was the defense claim that it could have been suicide. The police officer said it would have been impossible, but never said why.
I don’t know if it’s good news. Everyone is pretty sure this person didn’t have the mental faculty to premediate murder. I think this is bad news because we’re not looking for the real killer.
