Welcome Coach Albin!

FWIW, trashing the state our new coach and his family have spent the past 20 years living in not a good look. Ditto comments putting down Ohio U.

clt says that curtain behind Albin better be wrinkle free

One thing Iโ€™m going to say before this starts - I donโ€™t expect Albin to โ€œwinโ€ the press conference with an overabundance of charm and soundbytes. What I am hoping to see is an experienced vet who knows what it takes to win and can get these guys to buy in. If he comes across as that, he โ€œwinsโ€ in my book.

For once we have a coach that doesnโ€™t have to win the press conference.

wonderful โ€ฆ no sound for the presser.

OK, not just me. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

I refreshed and it is working now.

Itโ€™s working now, on X anyway.

clt says Hill mentioned โ€œhumbleโ€

Good. ESPN 730 also carrying it.

โ€œWeโ€™re going to win.โ€

:microphone: drop.

Coach A seems to have a cold. Iโ€™ve been there for weeks.

Good crowd there it appears.

I can totally relate. From his hairstyle, to his glasses, and choice of green as a fashion statement. I could pass as his older brother.

Kind of wild he played Wide Receiver, even at NAIA level.

I know this type of guy. He is a guy that is more comfortable talking one on one or in small groups in less formal settings than addressing a large crowd in a formal setting. I can relate.

He is going to come across to recruits and players as earnest, honest, sincere, trustworthy. Thatโ€™s how he wins people over and gets that all important buy in.
