“Team erupted into applause when he entered the room” at their meeting this morning

Not a great speaker. Good football coach though hopefully.

The last two were really good speakers. So excuse me if I don’t care at all about his public speaking ability

I believe he might have a mild stutter. For someone with a stutter he’s doing great.

Well said. He was clearly nervous but I found it endearing. He choked up thanking his wife and I’ve done the same thing when I’ve made public comments about my wife and family. From there he was clearly in front of a packed room and kept it short. Was much better in the Q&A and can see that in a 1:1 or in front of his guys he’s gonna keep their attention.

Was that coach Fearne standing on the wall there? Wearing black. Pretty sure that was him. Thought that was interesting and nice to see.

Definitely nervous. First new job in 20 years. New locale. Big crowd with high expectations. Public speaking isn’t everyone’s strong point. Can’t fault him a bit.

I thought he did great! He’s human! I’d have been a puddle on the floor!

I don’t give a damn if he can speak before crowds or not. Can and will he win? That is the bottom line.

Looks like it. (I happened to take a screenshot as my wife was there so was looking for her. )

Damn! That place was packed! There were barely that many at the end of the UAB game. That was a joke.

Agree. The one-on-one vid he did driving around Athens in his Trans-Am shows he’s comfortable talking football, family, music, etc.

The Man is in a completely new environment and brings hopes of leading our football team to the gold standard and someone criticizes his speaking ability! Geeeezeeee!

Albin passes metro’s litmus test: does he have a hot wife? :white_check_mark:

Music suggestion for the JRS sound people - play Sammy Hagar in all his rock 'n roll incarnations!

The nervousness being new I take as caring about what he is getting into. The way he spoke about leaving Ohio also shows he cares. The fact he wants to work with current players, ditto. I am all in and will be renewing my FSLs as soon as I recover from Christmas
