Why all of the Lutz hate all of a sudden?

Good lord man, you’re working way too hard here. Withers became a double double machine. I used to keep count. Piled them up his senior year. Really not seeing your point at all.
Give him
(and Dewhurst) a jump shot…then watch out!
If either one had a jumpshot they would be playing somewwhere else. By your Jr. year you either have a shot or you do not.
Definitely. That one spin move dunk that made Andy Katz’s jaw drop… and a couple of stick backs. The speed and power were amazing… but where was that other times?
Yeah that dunk in the Alambama game was one of the best I have ever seen and I have seen D. Wilkins in his prime at a dunk contest. It was so quick it was unbelievable. That was a tough loss that year.

for those who are saying that lutz isn’t adapting/improving his players, you’re an idiot… we’re short on players so players are having to play out of their usual positions. (is that adapting, or am i crazy?) second of all, if you’re playing out of position, you’re most likely not going to improve, because you are uncomfortable. a bunch of uncomfortable players=poor performance. di’juan and phil have really been the only two playing their positions, in which they show improvement. mack hasn’t improved, he’s just been off. can’t pull him out because we don’t have enough players to fill the spots.
Have you seen us play? There are some high school teams out there that could give us a run for our money.
you usually make some valid points. not this time. good high school teams would have a hard time against those teams in canada we slaughtered.

I think he was just being hyperbolic.
Or do you believe in the whole conspiracy theory against Charlotte 49ers actually being allowed to play in the NBA.
where did that crap come from? don’t invent conspiracy theories. we already have enough ā€œtheoriesā€ involving our ā€œsisterā€ school. if you want to call withholding our funds a theory. the nba doesn’t give a damn.
I think he was just being hyperbolic.
is that the same as hyperdermic?

I am not making this up, that type of conspiracy idea has floated around NinerNation before.

I’m just saying I thought Withers could have been more than he was. I am not saying he wasn’t a very good player for us, but I think he could have been a great player for us.

your absolutely right. you always got the feeling like he didnt care sometimes. i kind of didnt blame him since we didnt give him the ball enough.

To get back on track:

Lutz teaches that 33% from 3 equals 50% from 2.

So is 44% from 2 (29% from 3, which we are shooting) with little chance to go to the FT line a good percentage?

Just asking…because we are in a style that is not being changed when it is not working.

Dude…thank the lord you have only subjected us to 42 other posts, because this has to be about the stupidest one i’ve seen.Is Phil playing out of position…How about Coley?..Mack…uh uh…Harris?..nope,he’s a PG…Ian doesn’t really have a position, but he does play the 2,whereever he plays he still hurts us…Coleman is not out of position.I think you’re confusing LOUSY with out of position.
I am not making this up, that type of conspiracy idea has floated around NinerNation before.
conspiracy theories yes. but not about the nba refusing to take our players. that’s a new one and makes no sense. the conspirancy theories we’ve had involve lack of funding and the newspaper ****. both of those have been proven true. so maybe they’e no longer theories.

excuse me sir, if you read my post right, you’d understand that phil has improved because he HASN’T been out of position… and harris HASN’T either. coley and mack gave up. is ian playing better than last year? you tell me, this is my first year here. only reason i know that phil and harris have improved were because they are putting up better numbers than the 2 games i actually went to last year, and ian is too. you look at dewhurst, playing out of position, look how he played. coleman: he will too if he’s the supposed back up pg. coley and mack, i agree, that’s lousy, but they don’t have anything to play for. it’s their senior year and they have no prayer at a conference title. one shift in player can cause everyone to look lousy bud. if you can’t get a pg to spread the ball, EVERYONE looks lousy… and ian playing actually helps, some of the time. he may not be a consistent player, but few shooters in college are. he got us over the hill against umass, the one conference game we won. i’m just trying to prove the point that lutz is trying to adjust and try and get us wins. it seems that lutz is the problem. i disagree. he landed shamarr and braswell, two great players. i mean, braswell must think highly of lutz for him to go to play for him instead of georgetown. i have a feeling georgetown’s coach is pretty good, i mean they were uh, i dunno… in the top 25. lutz is moving people around and trying to get wins, if he was giving up on this team, i’d think he should go to.

Oh boy how times have changed. I can remember when a negative comment about Lutz would always get you slammed. Then your negative comments would be deleted or the thread would be moved to the smackboard. Now Bobby coming back is a poll question. Wow.

:49ers:

Ok, here's my slamming comment for you.

Your recent choices for meals could have been better.

He was a top 100 player. Probably 75-100. I saw enough back then because that was when we actually played on TV and his game hardly evolved into what he could have been. His hands were always his down fall, but there is more to the game than just his hands. He never refined his post moves and his long range jumper was similar as a fr./so. as it was his jr./sr. year.

There was serious talk of him becoming an NBA player and where exactly is he playing now? Or do you believe in the whole conspiracy theory against Charlotte 49ers actually being allowed to play in the NBA.

Wow, you watched him on our TV games…OK, I give up you ARE clearly :lol:the expert on Withers!:lmao:

It’s not he meals that concern me, it’s the 12 pk he washes it down with that makes me ponder…

Wow, you watched him on our TV games.....OK, I give up you ARE clearly :lol:the expert on Withers!:lmao:

Oh so I suppose you are an expert, because you were able to see him play in person?

That qualification really holds weight…
