Hunter is a good kid. Heâs a recent Charlotte grad trying to cover us properly. He and the underdog guy were at the tailgate Saturday. Observer is trash but Iâll stick up for hunter here.

Yikes, that is seriously not warranted towards Hunter. He is a good guy, just covering our beat. He has a FT job outside the Observer and has no pull there.
He is even doing this piece for Underdog Dynasty.
I think you might want to reconsider the target of your ire there. Hunter is not the guy.

His buddy Eric Henry from Underdog Dynasty is another really good, highly underappreciated guy. He covers FIU as his primary beat, and doesnât even get any support from the university. He is doing it all on his own through the UD website from what I can tell. He also has a podcast.
Guys like this are NOT doing it for the money or the prestige. Trust me. They are doing it because they love the sport / their school. Eric is a champion of all G5 schools, kind of like the Group of Five Guys, who are also awesome. IMO they all need our respect and support.
