Willie Clayton - 2012 PF - Signed LOI

ESPN blurb on Clayton:

He embraces his role and is a great backside rebounder who gets extra possessions for his team. He is limited offensively as most of his offense is eight feet and in, but he plays with a chip on his shoulder and few can match his intensity in the trenches. Elite mid-majors are all over him and the high-majors are taking notice.

[/quote] "Elite mid-majors" .... seriously? Too many insults to make here. SMH

You missed something special with that guy. Lang was an absolute beast all 4 years. He, Henry and Dink were my favorite players in that Niner era.

If Jarvis doesn’t break his arm Henry’s sr year that team could have been very special.

Perhaps, but the '95 team likely would not have been Dancing had that not happened.

and now we return to Mr. Clayton!

Per Will Gunter on twitter yesterday: 2012 forward Willie Clayton of Thomasville (Ga.) told me tonight he really likes #Charlotte but is no where near a decision.

mr. clayton. we really like you too, and our offer tells you all you need to know about our decision!

RT @TheRecruitScoop: USF offered Willie Clayton, a 2012 forward from Georgia, today.

mr. clayton. please note that there have been almost seven thousand, five hundred hits on your name on the ninernation.net recruiting site. this total far exceeds that for any other current target at any position.
stay cool.

best regards, early.

commit commit commit commit commit commit, please

Willie Clayton just sounds like a name that belongs on the walls of Halton.

8000 hits on your name now. it seems to me that you have, indeed, become a priority.

Is there any doubt he’s a priority? He’s #1 on my list. Come to Charlotte Willie!

No doubt, Clayton is a priority for our staff.

Seal the deal, Major! Bring Willie to Charlotte!

Willie will be taking an official visit here on August 24th.

sign the guy! just sign him before he leaves charlotte!

i know the official signing date is down the road. but sign him anyway. or get a kick-ass verbal. that’ll do for now!

how come my last two posts have the same number of total posts by them!??

so hey, mr. clayton, you might have twice the number of hits as recorded.

our stat crew is pretty good though, so don’t worry. come on up.
