WKU basketball - Rick Stansbury era

While Stansbury lost his star recruit, he does regain his all-conference performer from last season earlier than expected.

FWIW, Mitchell Robinson has made two visits to LSU since leaving WKU.

I hope they’re Top 10 when they stroll in here in January.
Halton better be splitting at the seams and rockin !
We have had magic here against to teams…maybe it can continue !

clt is pulling for wku. We need a good team in this conference.

Wow, what a soap opera! Guess getting back a top 10 recruit trumps losing a JUCO all-American!

WBKO.com: WKU guard Brangers no longer enrolled

Not sure if Brangers started for WKU during its recent trip to Costa Rica since there don’t seem to be any box scores posted for the three games they played. Anyway, he was their third leading scorer while there, averaging 15.7 ppg while shooting 12 of 28 on 3s.

Unfortunately for the Toppers, seems like academic issues are the reason for his departure.

Per Verbal Commits, Brangers returning to South Plains College (Texas), where he played JUCO ball prior to signing with WKU.

In addition, 6-9 C Robinson Idehen has also left WKU, joining another former Hilltopper - Damari Parris of Charlotte - at Trinity Valley CC (Texas).

Apparently he did NOT want to be in Bowling Green after all. Thus ends the Mitchell Robinson collegiate saga.

WKU signing a five star? Does not pass the smell test.
